Terms of Service
Last updated 2 May 2026
1. Who operates Quiver
Quiver is developed by Allan Noer, an individual developer based in Denmark. By installing the iOS app or using the website at getquiver.app, you enter into a binding agreement with Allan Noer under these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@getquiver.app.
2. What Quiver is
Quiver is a personal cycling garage app for iOS. It lets you track your bikes, log rides, monitor component wear, and plan maintenance — all on your device. The app is provided free of charge, without advertising.
Quiver is a private side project, not the product of a registered company. There are no service-level guarantees, uptime commitments, or formal support contracts.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quiver. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, review these Terms with a parent or guardian before agreeing to them.
4. No account required
Quiver does not require sign-up. You install the app, you start tracking your bikes — there is no email to verify, no password to manage, no account to lose access to.
The data you record is held on your device. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset all data, or by uninstalling the app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Quiver for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or bundled assets of the app, except where this right is granted by applicable law that cannot be waived.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the app.
- Use the Service in a way that disrupts or impairs it, or interferes with third-party services (such as Strava) that the app integrates with.
6. Your data, your device
You own all data you enter into Quiver — your bikes, components, rides, and notes. Allan Noer claims no intellectual property rights over your records.
Because Quiver is local-only, no licence to store or process your data needs to be granted to anyone. The data lives on your device, accessible only to the Quiver app inside the iOS sandbox.
For the details on how data is held, see the Privacy Policy.
7. The bundled bike catalogue
Quiver ships with a read-only catalogue of bike models and historical specs, sourced from publicly available manufacturer information. This catalogue is intended for reference only — Allan Noer is not affiliated with any bike manufacturer named in the catalogue and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any individual record.
8. Strava integration
Quiver optionally integrates with Strava. If you connect your Strava account, your use of Strava is also governed by Strava's Terms of Service. Allan Noer is not affiliated with Strava Inc. and is not responsible for changes to Strava's API, service availability, or pricing.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Allan Noer does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices or iOS versions.
Quiver's wear calculations and maintenance reminders are estimates based on the data you enter. They are not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection. Never rely solely on the app to determine whether a bicycle is safe to ride.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Allan Noer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including loss of data, personal injury, property damage, or equipment failure.
Total liability of Allan Noer to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. As Quiver is provided free of charge, that amount is zero.
11. Changes to the service
Allan Noer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. Where reasonably possible, advance notice will be given through the app or on the website. Allan Noer is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
12. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change with any update. Material changes will also be flagged in the app the next time you launch it. Continued use of Quiver after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, with the court having jurisdiction over Allan Noer's place of residence as the venue of first instance.
